Dear Parent,
Our program offers your child a loving and stimulating Christian environment that is developmentally appropriate for his or her skill level. We want you, the parent, to feel comfortable and confident about leaving your preschooler in our care. We offer opportunities for your child to grow and prepare for kindergarten through our curriculum and to mature while exploring God’s world. Our school will provide experiences that aid in the development of your child’s potential and positive self-worth, while recognizing each child’s individual needs.

Our Mission
To provide a quality Christian Early Childhood Education to the young children of our congregation, community, and beyond.
Our History
David Lutheran Christian Preschool began as a Kindergarten in 1954. We operated as a Kindergarten for 25 years. Then, in 1980, Sandra Heister started the preschool and we have been a quality preschool since.
Our Curriculum
Timeless Teachings in a changing world.
Our curriculum revolves around Kindergarten readiness. We teach the four Early Learning Content Standards which include: Math, Science, Social Studies, and Literacy. In addition to these, we also implement: Art, Music, and Religion. Our Teachers are well experienced and educated, they know how to identify each child’s strengths and areas for improvement. Our teachers meet each child’s individual needs through our small teacher to student ratios.
Our Director
Mrs. Julie Foltz is the primary administrator for David Lutheran Christian Preschool. She has been our director for over 14 years. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Education and has been in the Early Childhood Education field for over 25 years. Many of those years have been managing preschools as a Director.
